Calling all Portland Public Middle School Students!
Looking for a safe and fun program for your middle schooler this summer? Join us at the Maurice Lucas Foundation Community Engagement & Empowerment Summer Program! Students will be presented with learning activities that create a connection between them and their community. Students will be empowered to create, innovate and find confidence through character development curriculum, physical activity, and project-based learning opportunities.
The program will be held Monday-Friday, for a three-week period beginning June 21st, at Harriet Tubman Middle School. The program is for students entering grades 6-9, and due to grant funding, it is restricted to Portland Public School Students.
Lunch and snacks will be provided each day at no cost.
