The first annual Red v Blk Charity Basketball Kids Clinic will be held at Viking Pavilion on the PSU Campus Saturday, August 18th from 10:30am-12:00pm. Kids will receive coaching from some of the best in the region and will get a chance to watch the game after. Antonio Harvey spent 9 seasons in the NBA including 3 seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Seattle Super Sonics. He stayed connected as a radio broadcaster for the Portland Trail Blazers for 11 seasons and continues to impart his knowledge while coaching in the Portland community.

But what is Antonio most excited about? Passing his love of basketball to the next generation. “Directors Mortgage has always been a part of the local community. The opportunity to partner with two great groups like the Maurice Lucas Foundation & Brian Grant Foundation to help kids…how can you pass that up? But, to have a chance to positively impact their lives is truly a company goal at Directors Mortgage.”

Directors Mortgage has been serving the local community since 1998.  Our goal is to inspire reciprocation in our communities by helping raise awareness, create new opportunities and unite good people who make a positive difference. As a big advocate for youth sports, Directors Mortgage works with many local teams in the state including: Washington Timbers FC, Lake Oswego Soccer Club and Jesuit High School. Since 2010, Directors Mortgage has been recognized by the Portland Business Journal as a top 5 philanthropic company in the state giving almost $7 million to local organizations such as: Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metro, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Habitat for Humanity Portland Metro.”

About the Maurice Lucas Foundation

The Foundation is named in honor of the late Maurice Lucas (1952-2010), the leading scorer on the 1977 NBA champion Trail Blazers team. Besides his outstanding achievements on the court, Lucas also selflessly gave his time and energy to Portland youth. Since its formation in 2010, the Maurice Lucas Foundation has served thousands of students and families through its Academy program, basketball camps and teams.
