Annual Toy Drive Delivery is a Joyful Event
Maurice Lucas Foundation partners annually with FOX 12 Les Schwab Toy Drive, KGW Toy Drive and Toys for Tots to provide holiday gifts to students and their siblings who are in our programs. Each family receives multiple age-appropriate gifts, along with a board game perfect for family game night. Thank you to our donors and partners who walk beside us as advocates and champions for Portland youth in the Maurice Lucas Foundation Academies.
Special thanks to Cartside Food Carts for donating space and Procare Logistics for picking up the toys for free and delivering them.
About the Maurice Lucas Foundation
The Foundation is named in honor of the late Maurice Lucas (1952-2010), the leading scorer on the 1977 NBA champion Trail Blazers team. Besides his outstanding achievements on the court, Lucas also selflessly gave his time and energy to Portland youth. Since its formation in 2010, the Maurice Lucas Foundation has served thousands of students and families through its Academy program, basketball camps and teams.
