Join us May 5th for #GivingTuesdayNow

The way we provide support may look different, but the need remains the same. Now more than ever.

With the unprecedented crisis, we plan to support Portland Public Schools in order to minimize academic learning loss. Notably, we are filling the gap for parents who suddenly have their children home, but who may still be working themselves. The staff at the Maurice Lucas Foundation are working with parents to provide resources, emotional and academic support, and to customize tutoring for those who need it.

Please consider making a $20 donation to ML20 on Giving Tuesday Now!

About the Maurice Lucas Foundation

The Foundation is named in honor of the late Maurice Lucas (1952-2010), the leading scorer on the 1977 NBA champion Trail Blazers team. Besides his outstanding achievements on the court, Lucas also selflessly gave his time and energy to Portland youth. Since its formation in 2010, the Maurice Lucas Foundation has served thousands of students and families through its Academy program, basketball camps and teams.
