Help Us Build Our Classroom Library!
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., we would like to honor his life and dream by building a culturally diverse classroom library for our Maurice Lucas Foundation students at Parkrose Middle School. Reading is so important for our youth, and having the opportunity for our students to read books about social justice and diversity is equally as important.
You can help us by selecting a book or two from our AmazonWishlist of books. When checking out, please include your name and contact information in the notes area, so that we can keep a record of your donation.
Thank you for helping to build a brighter future for our students!

About the Maurice Lucas Foundation
The Foundation is named in honor of the late Maurice Lucas (1952-2010), the leading scorer on the 1977 NBA champion Trail Blazers team. Besides his outstanding achievements on the court, Lucas also selflessly gave his time and energy to Portland youth. Since its formation in 2010, the Maurice Lucas Foundation has served thousands of students and families through its Academy program, basketball camps and teams.
