We want to say a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Alicia Moreland-Capuia, Dr. of Psychiatry, for stopping by our academy this week to share her story with our kids. Dr. Moreland-Capuia, who is an original “I Have A Dream” recipient told of her journey, a childhood full of adversity but still going on to attend Stanford University and then on to George Washington University School of Medicine. With her love for learning, many many mentors and a drive to serve her community, Dr. Moreland-Capuia took time to tell our academy “dream big” because you too can make a difference.
