7th Annual Maurice Lucas Foundation Celebration Dinner – Tickets on Sale Now!
Friday, September 22, 2017 | Hilton Portland
The Maurice Lucas Foundation works with middle-school aged children. Four days a week, our after school academy focuses on seven core values of a healthy society. We model these pillars in the classroom and on the court. Our mission is Teaching life lessons through sport. We use the core values to close the gap between something the kids need—more time in the classroom—with something the kids love—time on the court.
The kids that have participated in our academy have made great advancements in school and in life. The 7th Maurice Lucas Foundation Annual Celebration Dinner will honor these kids and also provide the means to offer more kids great opportunities for success in their lives. Past events have featured amazing entertainment, great success stories from kids, teachers and mentors as well as celebrities sharing their perspectives. The evening will be one to remember!
Please make plans to join us, learn more about our programs and support the Maurice Lucas Foundation.

About the Maurice Lucas Foundation
The Foundation is named in honor of the late Maurice Lucas (1952-2010), the leading scorer on the 1977 NBA champion Trail Blazers team. Besides his outstanding achievements on the court, Lucas also selflessly gave his time and energy to Portland youth. Since its formation in 2010, the Maurice Lucas Foundation has served thousands of students and families through its Academy program, basketball camps and teams.
