The Maurice Lucas Foundation’s 9th Annual Celebration Dinner and After-Party will be on Saturday, September 7, 2019. It’s one fun night to benefit the Foundation’s after school academy for Portland-area middle-school aged children. With a goal of $500,000 to be raised, we would greatly appreciate you planning to be there!
Our mission is teaching life lessons through education and sport enabling the kids to find success in the classroom and life. We do this by combining something the kids need—more time in the classroom—with something the kids love—time on the court.
An incredibly powerful and inspiring event, the Annual Celebration Dinner is also the most sought-after event in the philanthropic community. Join us for amazing entertainment, great success stories from students, teachers and mentors as well as former NBA greats and other celebrities sharing their perspectives.
